Yesterday I received my new N78, nokias entry level N series phone. Key features include a GPS, Wifi, 3.2 MP camera and of course Nokia's s60 operating system.

The phone came bundled with some nice extras; a usb cable, earphones with remote and a 2GB microSD card.
I've been using my new Nokia N78 for about a day now. Overall the device has been good, especially the software. Having symbian s60 I can install all sorts of useful applications, even puTTy for those times when I need to reboot my web server. The only downside has been the rather strange button layout with the clear key at the bottom of the phone, I am planning to swap this key with the media button using a remapping application. Build quality is not as good as the E71 which has a steel body.
So far the most useful apps I've seen are live messenger and google maps and smart connect. The nokia's own web browser is very pollished, it even has adobe flash support.
The GPS is a handy feature to have, I have been using a web service phonelocator.mobi to track my phone. If it is lost, stolen or I just want to record a journey I will always have a record. It turns out I have to pay for driving mode on nokia maps, which is a disappointment, google maps works well but does not provide turn by turn instructions.
The price of this phone was significantly cheaper than other phones with similar features so besides the small keypad I think it's a great phone.
