Web Standards
I'm starting to see a new wave of web standards which are coming into modern browsers like firefox and safari.
It's really good to see the capability of these standards in a real demo.
These are just some of the new standards:
- RDFa
- CSS3
- HTML5
- SVG
There are a number of benifits to users and developers which can come from these.
RDFa is used to put html elements in context, for example a persons name would be marked as such, and search engines can achieve results in a more faceted fashion.
Nokia N78, First Impressions
Yesterday I received my new N78, nokias entry level N series phone. Key features include a GPS, Wifi, 3.2 MP camera and of course Nokia's s60 operating system.

The phone came bundled with some nice extras; a usb cable, earphones with remote and a 2GB microSD card.
Now a member of the Drupal Association
I've joined the Drupal Association hoping to give back the community and help drive forward Drupal.

Drupal and it's commumity have been an invaluable tool as I develop websites. Not only does Drupal speed up development but the community is constantly working to improve Drupal core, contrib modules and the community inrastructure. I can build a website on Drupal knowing that updates and new modules will be available in the future.

An interesting video on open mindedness.
